Designer Burkhard Vogtherr, also creator of the Motion, Webb, and Lucid Chair Series, has surpassed his previous creations with a family of executive to task chairs that offer extreme passive ergonomics and clean European styling. The unique back is made from stretch yarns in a knitted one-piece construction that provides passive ergonomic support for a wide range of body types. This knitted back is slipped over a tapered die-cast aluminum frame. A sculptured new frame evolved into an engineering marvel that pushed the limits of cast aluminum. The strength of the frame was kept where necessary, while other areas were carved away to create a fl owing sculpture with fl owing thick and thin profi les. The rocking motion is created from the frame being attached to the seat mechanism. Polished aluminum or powdercoate fi nishes are offered as standard. The knit back may be ordered with an upholstered pad that wraps around the front opening. This pad offers additional comfort and the aesthetic of textiles. Both the Mid Back and the High Back has a curved back rail that adds a shapely detail and doubles as a handle to pull the chair out. A pivoting pillow headrest is offered on the Headrest High Back and may be adjusted for individual stature. Four arm styles are offered, Inlay Arm, Overlay Arm, Adjustable Arm, and Armless. All arms are fi eld replaceable because of the unique connection to the back frame.
