The cover opens automatically when you enter your code on this portable executive safe. Light enough to be easily carried, it can be conveniently taken along on business or personal travels. Two mounting plates are included allowing you to secure valuables in your desk, car, or nearly any location (additional mounting plates available) The simple mounting system allows you to install mounting plates on a variety of surbaces, including wood or concrete; easily removed from teh mounting plates by anyone with a proper entry code. When the lock is closed, any incorrect entry code will be rejected with a buzzer sound. Three wrong tries locks it out for 5 minutes. The keypad lights up when activated. The safe operates on 4 AA 1.5V batteries. A mechanical override key is provided in the event the combination is ever lost.
