CONGRESS FEATURES .75 THICK SEVENPLY ROTARY CUT VENEER CORE PLYWOOD CONSTRUCTION. BACK PANELS ARE CONSTRUCTED WITH .25 THICK VENEER Specifications: Wood: All exposed parts are constructed of multiple layered plywood with oak veneer. All surfaces are well-sanded and free from brashness, discoloration, work holes, pits and shakes. Details of Construction: All shelves and side panels are fabricated from ѕ” thick plywood. Back panels are constructed from ј” thick plywood. The top and bottom shelves are securely screwed to the frame by tempered steel wood screws through the support rails which are concealed under the shelves. The back panel fits precisely into notches in the side panels, and is glued, screwed and pinned to the frame. Corner blocks are securely glued and screed to the frame beneath the bottom shelf for added support. The interior shelf (multiple shelves on high units) is movable and adjustable to accommodate books, binders, etc. of almost any standard size. These shelves are pinned solidly during shipment to prevent damage. All units are equipped with adjustable glides. Finish: Each chair has an even coat of a no-wipe stain, followed by a coat of sealer. A light sanding is given and then oven dried for 30 minutes. Another coat of catalyzed sealer is applied and oven dried for another 30 minutes. Another light sanding process is performed to assure a smooth finish. Then the product is sprayed with a 45 sheen catalyzed lacquer and oven dried for an additional 30 minutes. Then there is a 30 minute cool down period before final inspection. Warranty: All bookcases are covered by a full 5-year warranty against any defects in materials and/or workmanship.
